Do you think this bird is a Sharp-shinned Hawk or a Cooper's Hawk? (I have my opinion)
One thing I considered was the size of the bird. I measured the size of the birdbath and based upon that measurement, I placed the size of this bird between 15 and 16 inches from head to tail tip.
